“Acte transparent”, a group exhibition of contemporary art, runs until October 17.
On Friday, October 3, a large audience gathered at the former Museum of Painting for the opening of the collective exhibition “Acte transparent”, organized by the Grenoble-based association SV Espace.
Until October 17, around thirty artists are presenting paintings, sculptures, and installations in this emblematic venue on Place de Verdun.
At the head of SV Espace is Iana Viola, president and co-founder, who passionately leads this contemporary art project. Originally from Russia, she settled in Grenoble after studying design at the School of Architecture. In 2013, she launched the association with a friend, Anastasia Soka, whose initials “S” and “V” now form the name of the association. Since then, four collective exhibitions have followed one another, helping establish SV Espace within the cultural landscape of Grenoble.
How an artist uses artificial intelligence in her art
This year, Iana Viola presents several works marked by an exploration of new digital tools and artificial intelligence. Far from replacing the artist’s hand, AI allows her to generate new forms and question the place of humans in the creative process.
The exhibition also stands out for the diversity of artistic approaches. Among them, the work of Rita Salnikova, an artist originally from Siberia who recently settled in Grenoble, particularly draws attention. Her collages, created from a variety of materials (photographs, threads, plants, or tar), explore themes of memory and grief.
The president also emphasizes the collective nature of the project:
“We are not alone, ” insists Iana Viola. “I would like to thank the whole team that contributes enormously to the association with shared energy.”
SV Espace now aims to establish this exhibition as a recurring annual event, open to all artists who wish to present their work.

The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., with free entry.
